The majority of current Ben & Florentine owners had no prior restaurant experience, but they did share a passion for breakfast food, customer service and the desire to lead a team. Thanks to training and support from the global team at Kahala Brands™ and MTY Food Group™, franchise owners open fully prepared. New franchisees complete three weeks of training at an operating restaurant, working in every role. By the time grand opening comes around they are experts in preparing and serving Ben & Florentine’s signature breakfast and brunch foods as well as greeting customers, taking orders, using the proprietary Point of Sale system, taking inventory and leading a team.
